Dear Valued Buyer/Purchaser,

As is known to all, the LED industry has already come through 15 years approximately after developing several stages,
initial stage 2003-2010, medium stage 2011-2018, later stage 2018-????
from the oldest neon tube, DIP LED, SMD LED to COB SMD today,
from the single requirement to more multiple functional requirements,
from the regular quality, medium quality to top quality,
from simple brightness, power to CRI, LF, TM-15, etc.

Nowadays, LED technology is more and more mature, people not only care about brightness(lumens), power(watts) but also more focus on requirements of light efficiency, CRI/R9, Spectrum TM-15.

In December 2019, the European Commission published two different regulations: Single Lighting Regulation (SLR) and Energy Label Regulation (ELR) and enforced from 1 September 2021, which are product-specific, for energy-using and energy-related products, while ELR includes labeling requirements for selling the products in the EU market.

Difference between EU 2019/2015 directives and EU 874/2012 directives:

- The calculation of energy efficiency level is changed from EEI to TM (lm/W), which is more intuitive
- The classification of energy efficiency level is changed to Class A ~ Class G
- Higher energy efficiency requirements, Class A++ (EU 874/2012) is only equivalent to Class E (EU 2019/2015)

FINELED LIGHTING is making relevant preparations in advance for the requirements of the regulations and achieved the ability in publishing several Erp high light efficiency 160-190lm/w (Class D to Class B), choose products from FINELED to ensure your LED strip products are EU-compliant and future-proof.
